Why Hack the Flow

Our Mission

Our mission is to unite computer science clubs across Texas to network, collaborate on large-scale projects, and create a more connected, greater community.

As a hackathon focusing on novelty, Hack the Flow encourages an exploration into the art of innovation. With prizes oriented for this type of thinking, students are incentived to use their problem solving skills in a unique way.

There are millions of dead applications and websites that have attempted solving the same problem in the same way, or one very similiar to those seen as highly successful.

With a world increasingly lacking the ability to think different, Hack the Flow helps to spread the idea of treating innovation as more of an artform in order to stimulate the creative flow of thought that leads to incredible problem solving systems created by their equally incredible problem solvers.

Vision

Student Solutions, the organizers of Hack The Flow, envisions an expansive network of rising programmers. Hack the Flow projects this vision through emphasizing novelty, a critical factor in effective problem solving.
